Release Notes February 14, 2024
New Analytics Studio templates and enhancements
We’ve introduced four new templates in Analytics Studio and made significant updates to enhance your reporting capabilities. These updates, available since February 8th, are designed to provide more in-depth insights into your analytics.
New Templates
- Review Summary Report: This report comprehensively overviews your review status. It allows you to monitor and assess the performance of your reviews at a glance.
- Review Sentiment Report: Gauge the overall sentiment of your reviews. This template identifies trends and areas for improvement based on customer feedback.
- Listings Summary Report: Monitor your listing statuses across platforms. This report simplifies monitoring your listings' visibility and accuracy.
- Search Insights Report: Delve into various metrics related to your search insights. This report offers a detailed analysis of your search performance, supporting both Google and Yelp, to help you make informed decisions.
Enhancements
- Removal of Previous Templates: To streamline our reporting and reduce confusion, we have removed the existing “Review Summary Report” and “Listing Progress Report” in favor of our new, more comprehensive reports.
- Continued Access to Previous Reports: Users who created reports based on the now-removed templates will still have access to their old reports, ensuring no loss of data or insights.
Social Media Links for Listings enhancements
Integration with Google and Bing APIs
- The system now integrates with Google and Bing APIs, allowing users to add social media profile links to their Google Maps and Bing listings.
- Supported social media platforms include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.
Differences in Platform Support
- Google supports adding links from social media platforms.
- Bing limits support to only Facebook and Twitter.
Single Link Restriction
- Users can only add one link per social media provider to their listing.
- The system proactively removes an already selected platform from the options to ensure this restriction is adhered to.
Check for Existing Links on Google
- A new check has been implemented to import existing social media links added directly to Google into the Chatmeter dashboard.
- This prevents duplication of effort for clients who have previously added links directly to Google.
- If a URL in Chatmeter differs from one already on Google, Chatmeter's entry will overwrite the existing Google link, ensuring Chatmeter remains the source of truth.
Validation and Error Handling
- Minimal validation is performed on the URLs added; they must be actual URLs but do not undergo domain validation.
- This approach operates under the principle of "garbage in, garbage out," emphasizing user responsibility for the accuracy of the input.
