Brand competitor management release

All clients on the Performance and Intelligence bundles can now add competitors via the new competitor management feature.

To add a competitor, navigate to Settings > Competitors > click Add Competitor.

Alternate ID release

The ability to add a new ‘Alternate ID’ to a location is now live!

• The control of this feature is still behind a configuration that the product team has access to. Contact your CSM to configure this feature.

Apple business connect v2 API migration

The team has been hard at work upgrading Apple’s API version. This is strictly a backend change. No new functionality is being released, and the process for Apple listings management remains the same.

Changes clients will notice:

• Some Apple categories are being removed.
• Chatmeter is migrating any client category that is being removed to the new category based on Apple's mapping.
• Categories can still be changed within the dashboard.

Google credential authorization changes

Google has added a new permission that needs to be checked off when a user adds their Google account.

• This is visible when adding a Google account to the dashboard via the Third Party Credentials page.
• The permission is labeled “See, edit, create, and delete your Google business listings.”
• This permission is required to be selected. If not, an error message will appear.

You don’t need to re-add credentials. Only new Google accounts/credentials will need to check off this permission.
