New Location ID

We are excited to introduce a new ID in the Location dashboard. This new ID, called Alternate ID in the UI, can be leveraged similarly to the client Location ID.

Key Features:

• Alternate ID Visibility: The Alternate ID field will only be displayed if a client explicitly fills out this ID.
• Management: This field can be added, edited, or removed within the Location Editor, the Upload Tool, and the Chatmeter API.
• Enabling the Feature: To enable this field, toggle on the Show Client Location ID feature within the account settings.

Competitor Brand Management

We are pleased to announce the completion of our Brand Competitor Management feature. This feature is enabled for all clients on current bundles (Performance & Intelligence).

Key Features:

• Feature Flag: This feature is controlled by the Brand Competitors feature flag.
• Navigation: Go to Settings > Competitors, and click Add Competitor to access this feature.

Important Notes

• Clients who have already set up their competitors do not need to take any action. Competitors will only be identified if a new rule is created.
• Any manually entered competitors will not be removed if new brands are specified.
