Creating Survey Contacts with Your Yardi Account in Chatmeter
If you are a Chatmeter customer leveraging Chatmeter surveys, Chatmeter can pull resident data from your Yardi account and create contacts for your survey campaigns.
For us to use your Yardi account to create your contacts for surveys, you will need to:
- Create a Yardi support case in Client Central and request that the Chatmeter vendor package be loaded into your database. If you need assistance, review the Service Request Interface Setup Guide posted on Yardi’s Client Central.
- For additional support, reach out to your Yardi account manager or Yardi’s core support team.
- Once the vendor package has been added, you will need to provide Chatmeter with your Yardi credentials. Specifically, send Chatmeter your Voyager URL, Interface Username, Password, and Database name.
- Chatmeter will enter this information into your account on your behalf. This action creates the connection between your Yardi and Chatmeter accounts.
- After the Yardi credentials are entered, you can create Campaigns and Surveys.
- Finally, create the schedule in Chatmeter to determine which events and how often Chatmeter will pull in contacts from Yardi.
To create a schedule, use the following steps:
- Navigate to Surveys > Campaigns > click the Contacts icon
- Click the Upload Contacts drop-down arrow and select Create Yardi Automation
- Specify how you want Chatmeter to handle duplicate contacts, the event type, and the schedule for pulling contacts from your Yardi account.
- Click Save
Supported Event Types and Frequencies
- Event types include:
- Move-in
- Move-out
- Service Request
We recommend setting up a separate campaign and survey for each event type.
- Frequency includes:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
