Average Sentiment and Sentiment Distribution Over Time
The Average Sentiment Over Time and Sentiment Distribution Over Time graphs show how sentiment (positive, neutral, or negative) changes over time. You can select the granularity of your data selections for both graphs by selecting Granularity. You can choose 1 to 5 days, one week, 30 days, 90 days, or one year.
The Average Sentiment Over Time graph has a line showing average sentiment over time (the blue line). The dots on the line indicate sampling dates. Hover over the dot to get the specific score and the number of reviews represented in the score. The orange line shows the volume of reviews.
Our system categorizes three distinct types of points of interest, each represented by a specific color for easy identification and analysis:
- Green = Positive Point of Interest

By clicking on any point of interest, you'll unlock a detailed analysis. This feature provides a comprehensive breakdown, including the percentage change from the previous period and the specific topics driving this change. Select View more about this time for an even more detailed exploration. This action expands the insights, integrating them with the dynamic Sunburst graph on the Explorer tab, offering a visual and intuitive understanding of the data and trends.
The Sentiment Distribution Over Time graph shows how many statements are positive, neutral, or negative over the selected time. Hover your mouse anywhere over the graph to see specific details for that point in time. Remember, you can select the granularity of your data selections by selecting Granularity.
